Hollywood and US presidents aren’t normally words you would connect with each other (except, of course, for the late US president Ronald Reagan). But when election time comes, the two worlds converge as stars campaign for their candidates. This election, however, has seen celebrities doing more than the usual for the Democrat’s candidate, Barack Obama.

Stars like Oprah, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Affleck and Scarlett Johansson have been actively supporting Obama. Now, there are even music videos by will.i.am, singer of The Black Eyed Peas, called “Yes We Can” and “We are the Ones”, which have been released in YouTube and Dipdive.com, featuring cameos by several celebrities who support Obama. It is now being promoted as a viral video on Obama’s campaign website. “Yes We Can” even won an Emmy for Best New Approaches in Daytime Entertainment, and won a Webby Award for will.i.am as “Artist of the Year”. Check out more about the songs in Wikipedia.
